is your brand due for a spring cleaning ?

Spring is here and there is no better time to dust off your marketing hat and give your existing logo a solid once-over. Whether it’s a minor makeover or a complete overhaul, most companies need to update their logos from time to time. Here are some questions to ask yourself to help you decide if you should stick with what you’ve got or mix things up:

  1. Has your business expanded or changed its services?
    Are you a dog groomer who has expanded into sheep shearing? Probably not. But if your business has expanded its services or offerings, make sure your logo reflects that.
  2. Do you feel like your business ISN’T attracting your dream clients?
    If you feel like your marketing materials are not attracting Mr. and Ms. Right, a rebrand may be helpful. Your brand may not be effectively conveying who you are and what your business has to offer. 
  3. Is your logo dated?
    If your logo has been with you since the Seinfeld and Friends era, it might be time to freshen up your brand. As styles and trends change, your once shiny new logo might begin to feel tired and outdated, and an outdated logo often gives the unwanted impression that your business is also outdated. Even though design trends do change, and some retro logos are timeless, a simple and clean logo with fresh typography can do wonders for your image.
